🚨 PRODUCT RECALL – IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS & CARERS 🚨
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is urging parents, early years settings and caregivers to check their infant formula after a recall of specific batches of Aptamil and Cow & Gate products (issued Friday 6 February 2026).
The recall has been made by Danone due to potential cereulide contamination, which can cause symptoms such as vomiting and stomach cramps.
👉 Only the batches listed in the FSA recall notice are affected, along with the product included in Danone’s earlier recall on 23 January 2026.
What you should do:
✔️ If you have any of the affected products, stop using them immediately.
✔️ Switch to an alternative formula.
✔️ If your baby is on a prescribed formula, speak to a pharmacist or doctor before making any changes.
✔️ If your baby has recently had the affected formula and you’re worried about symptoms, contact your GP or call NHS 111.
