To parents of children in all sections,

Following the Prime Minister’s latest guidance regarding social contact, the leadership team for Doncaster Scouting has decided that all section meetings must not go ahead until further notice. This means that from today, 5th Woodlands will not be holding Beaver, Cub or Scout meetings.

The leaders at 5th are disappointed that we will not be able to hold our usual sessions but completely support the Doncaster district team in their decision to follow all guidance outlined today.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. We will update you as soon as we know more.

Thank you to everyone who attended the fair. We raised a fantastic £500.91 for our group! Particular thanks to the parents and grandparents who gave up their time to run a stall! X

£384 raised by group from the sale of purple voucher books. Thank you everyone for any books you bought! Thank you also for any books you returned unsold but on time and in good condition.

We are planning to sell the 2017 book in September 2016.

We will see all Beavers, Cubs and Scout again as our sessions begin again this week. Beavers Thursday 5pm until 6.15pm, Cubs Thursday 6.25pm until 8.05pm and Scouts Tuesday 7pm to 9pm. Any children who would like to join any of our sessions can contact Chil using the contact details on the about section of this page.

All sections have now closed for Christmas. Scouts reopens on January 5th. Beavers and Cubs reopens on January 7th.

We are pleased to announce that 5th Woodlands collected the most green tokens at ASDA Carcroft through September and October. This has raised £200 for our group.
