City of Doncaster Council has received funding from the UK Government to administer the funding which aims to support low-income households who encounter a sudden, unexpected expense or financial shock, or an unexpected drop in income, or are at risk of entering crisis - a situation where immediate help is required to prevent harm or serious negative outcomes.

Crisis payments are intended to meet one-off or short-term needs and cannot be used as an alternative source of regular income.

The sixth round of Environmental Pride funding is now accepting applications, with community groups able to apply for grants of up to £5,000.

Delivered in partnership with Doncaster Council, the fund supports projects that benefit the natural environment while making a positive difference in local communities.

🏡 Bentley West End Day of Action

A big thanks to everyone who came along and got involved in the recent Bentley West End Day of Action.

Our team organised a pop-up conversation point for tenants so they could find out more about the support we can offer, and we shared information on our Housing Management service, Garden service and Income Management drop-in sessions.

Our housing officers and caretakers were also on hand to support residents in disposing of bulky items responsibly and helping to tackle fly-tipping in the area.

The skip day was a great success and it was fantastic to work alongside our partners to support the local community 💙
