🎮Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Accessible Gaming Café this afternoon, we had so much fun!

Our Gaming Café is a dedicated space for anyone interested in creating their own games, exploring game design and learning how AI tools can support the game development. But more importantly, it's about socialising within a fun and friendly environment.

We're excited to see everyone this Friday at Louis' Accessible Gaming Cafe 🎮 Don't forget to book your space using the booking form below.

Louis’ Accessible Gaming Café is coming back on Friday 28th August 2026!!

Each month, Louis hosts a monthly social gaming café here at Encompass Care in Poundbury Dorchester which is designed specifically for adults who face accessibility challenges when using a PC. We provide adapted gaming PCs and a range of accessible equipment to help people with mobility and physical access needs enjoy gaming in a comfortable, supportive, and social environment.

This is a dedicated space for people who are specifically interested in creating their own games, exploring game design, and learning how AI tools can support the game development process.

This is all about:
Making PC gaming more accessible
Reducing social isolation through shared interests
Providing access to adaptive gaming equipment
Encouraging creativity and game development
Building an inclusive gaming community in Dorset

Come and join us between 2pm and 4pm on Friday 28th August at Encompass Care accessible Head Office, 200 Bridport Road, Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 3BN.
Refreshments in the form of soft drinks will be provided but please feel free to bring your own. There are kitchen facilities and blenders which can be available for anyone requiring a modified diet.

At Encompass Care, inclusivity is one of our core values.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to be involved in decisions that affect them. This approach, sometimes called co-production, is about all of us working alongside one another, sharing ideas, making decisions, and planning together.

Last Wednesday, we held our monthly Encompass Voices meeting with people within our services to gather feedback on this year's Summer Gala. We talked about everyone’s favourite activities and spoke about how to make the event fun, inclusive and accessible for everyone next year. We will also be gathering feedback from people who do not attend Encompass Voices. This is what co-production looks like at Encompass Care.
