What difference does Surrey Care Association membership really make? 🤔

Rather than tell you ourselves, we asked our members.

In this new film, care providers from across Surrey share, in their own words, how Surrey Care Association has supported them through challenges, connected them with peers, amplified their voice and helped them navigate an ever-changing social care landscape.

Whether you're already part of our community or considering joining, we hope you'll find their experiences valuable.

Thank you to our member organisations for generously sharing their experiences, including Nellsar, Ace Community Services, Huntington & Langham Estate, Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead and Melody Care.

🌟 Congratulations to The White House Nursing Home on its Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC)!

It was a pleasure for our colleague Debbie to join the team recently as they celebrated this fantastic achievement with a garden party alongside residents, families, colleagues and invited guests.

An Outstanding rating reflects an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care, and it's wonderful to see such well-deserved recognition for everyone involved.

Congratulations once again to the whole team at The White House Nursing Home. We hope you enjoyed your celebrations and wish you every continued success.

Great to welcome Surrey care providers to today's Business Breakfast - a chance to catch up, share experiences and pick up new ideas.

We were especially pleased to welcome MP Helen Maguire for Epsom & Ewell, whose genuine engagement with attendees made a real impact. Helen spoke about her personal commitment to the sector and her support for independent social care providers, and took the time to answer questions around costs, sustainability and the pressures facing the sector. Opportunities for this kind of open and constructive dialogue are incredibly important, and we’re grateful for her time and ongoing interest.

We then heard a compelling presentation from Kay Morley-Cooper, founder of OneCare Platform, who shared insightful reflections on effective leadership in challenging environments, along with practical tips that resonated strongly with attendees.

Our final speaker, Steve Drake of UK Business Mentoring, introduced the benefits of coaching and mentoring for SMEs, offering a fascinating perspective on how structured support can help care businesses strengthen performance and achieve sustainable growth.

Several of our other partners kindly supported the event: Person Centred Software, Care Safety Innovations, Spectrum Purchasing Network, and Howden Insurance Brokers LTD.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and contributed to such engaged and thoughtful discussions. If you’re not yet a member of the Surrey Care Association but would like to be part of events like this - gaining insight, building connections and having your voice heard - our contact details are in the bio. We’d love to welcome you.

Every day in care, there are moments worth recognising. And the Surrey Care Awards are one way we do just that.

This year, we’re joined by the brilliant La Voix, bringing energy, joy and a little sparkle to what promises to be a very special evening. ✨
The Awards are all about recognising the incredible people and organisations at the heart of Surrey’s care community, and giving them the spotlight they deserve.

Now’s your chance to tell their story…

We’re delighted to welcome Dan Stoneman from Surrey County Council to the Surrey Care Association Spring Conference 2026.
