Great to welcome Surrey care providers to today's Business Breakfast - a chance to catch up, share experiences and pick up new ideas.
We were especially pleased to welcome MP Helen Maguire for Epsom & Ewell, whose genuine engagement with attendees made a real impact. Helen spoke about her personal commitment to the sector and her support for independent social care providers, and took the time to answer questions around costs, sustainability and the pressures facing the sector. Opportunities for this kind of open and constructive dialogue are incredibly important, and we’re grateful for her time and ongoing interest.
We then heard a compelling presentation from Kay Morley-Cooper, founder of OneCare Platform, who shared insightful reflections on effective leadership in challenging environments, along with practical tips that resonated strongly with attendees.
Our final speaker, Steve Drake of UK Business Mentoring, introduced the benefits of coaching and mentoring for SMEs, offering a fascinating perspective on how structured support can help care businesses strengthen performance and achieve sustainable growth.
Several of our other partners kindly supported the event: Person Centred Software, Care Safety Innovations, Spectrum Purchasing Network, and Howden Insurance Brokers LTD.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and contributed to such engaged and thoughtful discussions.
