General information
The World Unionist Organisation was founded at the initiative of Oliver Murphy on the 9th October 2016 in Sydney, Australia. The goals of the Unionist movement will be stated in a resolution in Congress that will be known as the “Sydney Program.” Unionism aims at establishing for the British and Irish people a legally assured home in the British Isles under one state called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. To achieve this purpose, the following means shall be employed: Promoting the settlement of British and Irish Unionist farmers, artisans, and tradesmen in the British Isles. Organising and uniting all British and Irish Unionists through effective local and international means in accordance with the laws of each country. Strengthening of the Unionist national sentiment and national consciousness. Preparatory steps toward obtaining the consent of governments, where necessary, in order to achieve the goals of Unionism.
