Rising input costs. Cheap food culture. Climate change…

These are just some of the pressures UK farmers face. Set against this backdrop, the drive to restore species and habitats to this island is often seen as the straw that will break the camel’s back.

“You can’t eat trees” has become a rallying cry for people who fear being removed from the land, to be replaced by woodland and wildlife.

Will rewilding put people out of business? Is it a threat to food security?

Always exciting to see the photos come in from a Touch the Wild workshop here. Paul has an amazing eye for a photograph and always produces something creative and unexpected. This weekend he and his guests worked on panning - soaring kite in the foreground, autumnal colours in the background - love it!

Roy Dennis… Wonderful to spend a day with this incredible man.

Watching the red kites while discussing his life’s work, it struck me how much so many of us working in rewilding today owe to a small group of people, so very ahead of their time.

Facebook friends, I’m trying to set up outdoor lighting for nighttime badger photography.

Looking for dimmable outdoor light. Has to be battery operated as we don’t have mains down at the hide.
