🔴🟠 HiVis Fortnight 🔵🟣

In celebration of HiVis fortnight (1 - 15 June), we're showcasing some of the resources we have in Norfolk Libraries for those with a vision impairment.

Braille books, large print, audio books - we have a whole host of provisions on offer! What's more, with our Equal Access card you can borrow items we usually charge for, for free - just ask a member of library staff for more details.

Find out more info on fortnight at:

📚 Recommended Read 📚

The husband of a prominent and infamously ruthless barrister is found in horrific condition after a robbery and brutal assault. Now in a coma, a major investigation is launched using the newly formed, experimental Metropolitan Police Serious Crime Analysis Unit.

Jessica Russell is an experienced CSI with degrees in psychology and criminology with an exceptional Masters in Investigative psychology and behaviour analysis. But Jessica's first job as team leader of MSCAN is entirely new to her: to bring together a team of three trusted officers.

Between them, the team has dealt with every kind of murder and major crime scene - their expertise ranges from forensic DNA to blood spatter analysis, digital forensics and beyond. Now they must piece together the complex puzzle at the heart of this brutal crime.

❤ Volunteers Week ❤

1-7 June is , and we want to say the biggest THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers, who help us make our library the very best it can be!

We have volunteers who offer IT assistance, run all our children's clubs, help people improve their reading skills, and deliver books to our housebound readers , run chess and craft clubs, deliver our English Exchange and International Clubs, and provide SEND support!

We even have lots of younger volunteers in over the summer, helping sign children up to the Summer Reading Challenge.

If you're interested in volunteering with Norfolk Libraries, get in touch. You can email:
[email protected]

and you can also find more information about the types of volunteering we offer at:
www.norfolk.gov.uk/libraryvolunteers

Once again, to our amazing volunteers - a heartfelt thank you. You're all the best and we couldn't do it without you!
