Stoke Prior Summer Fayre. Sunday 16th August at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club.

Gates open at 11.30am. On site parking is available and a minimum of £1 per vehicle is requested as a donation.

This will be a great day out for the whole family with pony rides, petting zoo, bouncy castle, food and drink, games for all ages and face painting.

Funds raised will support Stevie Stones registered charity.

Today, free open air cinema in Wychbold Park. Come and see Mamma Mia, 6pm. Bring something to sit on. Refreshments etc will be available to buy to support local charities.

Please note if you or anyone you know intends to visit St Mary's Wychbold churchyard, in the next few days, there is a hornets nest in the hedge behind the church. A pest controller has been booked to attend to it on Monday morning but in the meantime all visitors are asked to keep clear of the nest area. Please take care.

The result of the by-election held 9th July has been declared by the district council's Deputy Returning Officer.

An election has been called for the Dodderhill Ward to fill the two vacant seats caused by recent resignations.

If you are a registered elector, this is your opportunity to vote for two of the 13 councillors who represent all residents of the parish, manage some local services, and make decisions that affect Wychbold village and the surrounding area by volunteering their time for the benefit of our community.

If you are a postal voter, your polling card will have been delivered to you in the post. Only postal voters will receive a polling card. You do not need a polling card if you vote in person. ELECTION DETAILS

Date: Thursday 9th July
Polling Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Polling Station: Wychbold Village Hall
School Road, Wychbold, WR9 7PU

NO POLLING CARD IS REQUIRED TO VOTE IN PERSON but DON'T FORGET YOUR PHOTO ID!

To cast your vote at the polling station, you are now required by law to show a valid form of photo ID. Accepted forms of ID include:

Passport (UK, EU, or Commonwealth)
Driving Licence (UK or EU, full or provisional)
Blue Badge
OAP Bus Pass / Freedom Pass
Voter Authority Certificate (VAC)

Note: Expired ID is still acceptable as long as the photo still looks like you.

Why Vote?

Parish councils are the most local tier of government. They have a direct say in local planning applications, maintain our parks and footpaths, support village halls, and lobby on issues like road safety and speeding through our villages.

Make sure you have your say on Thursday 9th July.

Notice of tree surgery at Wychbold Park, Friday 26th June, starting 7am. Major work will be carried out on the large ash tree near the MUGA, to make it safe after a large branch came down recently. Will also be removing two dead trees from near the Park entrance. For Park visitors, please note access to these areas will be restricted whilst the work is carried out.
