Unfortunately, the harpist who was to play at the library on Saturday has had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

🤩 Summer Reading Challenge 🤩.

Make sure you complete the challenge of reading 6 books before the 13th September to receive your Certificate and Medal 🏅

To make your library visit extra special on Saturday, a harpist will visit our library and play her beautiful music in the children's area from 10:30am. There is even a small harp available to have a go yourself! 🪉

Also a reminder that the National Trust voucher to visit the Firs - Elgar's birthplace, which is given out after book no 4, is valid until the end of August so only a few days left to use it 😊

We had a great afternoon yesterday doing our final Summer Reading Challenge craft activity based around the story 'The Big-Time Boogie-Woogie Animal Band'.
