Here are a few images of a 'practice' smaller scale model of the barn which ive been working on, this is made from simple Ply wood and gives a good vision as to what the the actual project will look like! Only the proper model will consist of a larger scale and original 14th century wood work, it will certainly be amazing!!!

Here's a mock design of one of the roof parts that will be made 5 times and slotted into the top of the frame.

We've planed all the rough woodworm infested rotted skin of this 14th-century wood to reveal this beautiful dark oak. We've already been through two planer blades because this stuff is so hard and filled with cast iron nails. The history in this wood really shows!

This is the wood that we will be using to make the model of the Dronfield barn. We've estimated it to be from around the 14th century. The Oak has turned extremely dark over time but now it has been pulled out of the original barn and is going to be turned into an authentic 12th scale replica of the barn. This stuff is amazing, it even has workers part numbers from where they would have constructed it in the 17th century.
