Showcasing some gorgeous cushions I've just made from a remnant fabric puchased at Penrose Interiors, Baslow, Derbyshire, displayed on this boiling hot September day in the garden (which is thriving a little too much) under a totally wet summer and hot sunshine now.
Total cost was crazy low as it was just the purchase of the remnant and using up all old fillers, cottons and zips from my sewing box.
Loving the new addition to our home, reflecting lots of the glorious nature we have around us here in the Peak District, all the time.
Enjoying getting back to Creative-me. Hope you enjoy the shots of the garden that we so rarely get to enjoy but is a sheer delight!

We often forage in our own garden and love Rosehip Syrup with hot water for a dose of Vit C in the winter, but there is so much more we could be eating (nettle crisps?!) and this book looks really helpful.

Apple-picking time at Horsleygate Hall! Beautiful weather to accompany us too. We love September here but it's now a race to get the apples cooked and preserved. Tarte Tatin tonight, fresh apple juice tomorrow and then our famous Apple Ketchup (if I can find the recipe)!

What a beautiful day to discover my absent chicken Kinder Surprise tending for her 16 surprise baby Chickens in the wood-shed! She was a surprise to us hence her name; and now she has just spectacularly repeated history! We have gone from 5 chickens to 28 in 3 months! Watch thus video when you need a bit of tranquillity in your life!
