Evie did a fantastic job supporting the office during a period of management absence. She took on additional responsibilities with confidence and showed great initiative and reliability throughout.

She is proactive within the rooms, ensuring activities are thoughtfully planned and set up around current topics to support the children's learning and development. Evie consistently supports her colleagues, offering help whenever it is needed and always maintaining a positive attitude.

Evie also communicates well with parents in a professional and approachable manner, helping to build strong relationships with families.

Thank you, Evie, for all of your hard work and dedication. It is very much appreciated.

Amy has been showing great leadership and initiative in the absence of the Room Leader. She steps up to ensure the room runs smoothly and that routines are maintained throughout the day.

Amy has also been putting a lot of effort into planning activities for her key children and the room as a whole, helping to ensure the children continue to have quality learning experiences.

🐍🕷Zoo lab 🕷🐍
We had a special visit from Chris ( zoo lab) and his special friends!

Chris explained to the children Each one has special "superpowers" called adaptations that help them survive in the wild.

🪳 Max the Cockroach
Max has a tough, shell-like exterior that acts like a suit of Armor! His dark brown and black colours help him stay hidden in the shadows. He loves to Eat Carrots, Pizza and chips!

🕷️ Athena the Tarantula
Athena is a stunning mix of purple, brown, and grey. While she has 8 legs, her eyes are actually very tiny! She uses them mostly to sense light and dark rather than to see clear pictures.

🐌 Sheldon the Snail
Sheldon is a Giant African Land Snail, and he can grow as big as a football! He uses his two long tentacles to smell his way around. His yellow and brown shell isn't just a house—it’s camouflage to help him hide.

🐍 Violet the Corn snake
Violet is a North American Corn snake. Her skin is scaly and dry, not slimy! Because she is cold-blooded, she loves to soak up the sun to stay warm. Watch out for her red tongue—that’s how she "smells" her lunch!

🐹 Chase & Status the Gerbils
These two come all the way from the deserts of Mongolia. They are mammals and expert engineers! They love to dig deep tunnels to stay safe and cool underground. Chase is our brave explorer, while Status is a little more shy.

The children showed fantastic listening ears when following Chris's golden rules:
Quiet lips
sitting still and nicely
No fingers in mouth, ears, nose or eyes after touching the animals
Holding hands out flat and washing hands afterwards

⭐ EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH ⭐
Caroline consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that all of our children’s dietary needs are met. She also supports the team by stepping in to cover dinners whenever needed.

Recently, Caroline invited the children to make their own Angel Delight for after dinner, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Caroline is always on the go, making sure snacks are prepared and that everyone is well looked after throughout the day.

Thank you, Caroline, for all of your hard work and for supporting both the children and the staff.
