⚠️ Closure of A82 Glencoe Three Sisters parking areas for improvement works from 30 Oct for eight weeks ⚒️

🅿️⛔ From 7am on Monday, the larger Three Sisters parking area, known as the Coire Gabhail / Hidden Valley car park, will be closed until around Friday 22 December, for redesign and resurfacing, including the introduction of marked parking bays to ensure a safer and more organised parking capacity 🚗🚐🛵🚲

🅿️⛔ From end of November, the smaller Three Sisters parking layby, known as the Coire nan Lochan layby, will also be closed for up to four weeks, in order to undertake improvement works and resurfacing. In the future, this layby will be dedicated to buses and coaches 🚌🚌

Most of this work will be taking place off-road, limiting disruption to road users, though there will be several occasions when traffic management on the A82 will be in place🚦

⚠️ While the parking areas are closed, drivers are asked to respect road signage, stop only in other designated car parks and laybys, and not park illegally on the roadside, which is a Clearway throughout the Glencoe area 🚧

Footpaths into the mountains around the Three Sisters will not be affected 🥾

This work has been programmed to avoid the height of the tourist season, as well as the traditional winter climbing season, to help minimise impact on visitors and walkers, however we understand it may cause inconvenience to some, and thank everyone for their patience 😊🙏

We hope it will bring much-needed improvements to road and parking safety, landscape presentation and the visitor experience at this popular location for sightseers and walkers in the heart of Glencoe National Nature Reserve NTS 🏔️💚

Plans have been developed in collaboration with Transport Scotland and .Scotland, in line with mandatory design standards for trunk roads.

So Very Proud of Rachel Great result for first year in this class.
With the Scottish super series at and end and finishing in 17th place out of 38 drivers here are the results from round four at Larkhall.
Heat 1 - started 22nd, gained a few places but dropped to 21st
Heat 2 - started 11th, DNF
Heat 3 - started 5th, finished 12th
Final - stared 22nd, got my way through the field before being hit off, finished 23rd
Although not the weekend we hoped for I am still happy with my results due to having engine issues from the get go and proud to be in the top half of the field overall in my first season of junior max, a huge thank you to and for all the help once again this weekend and all my sponsors for helping make competing in this championship and all the races this season so far possible, I look forward to the club events I will be partaking in for the rest of the season with hopefully little to no issues. We are delighted to be supporting this young lady last weekend
Another great weekend no major incidents which auntie Janet was very grateful for 🙂 30 drivers starting in her class. Unfortunately a late registration left her having to start at the rear of the grid, so very proud of where she finished.
Scottish Super Series round 3 putting Rachel 17th in the championship!
Heat 1 - 22nd to 17th
Heat 2 - 23rd to 17th
Heat 3 - 20th to 12th
Final - 22nd to 19th (due to bumper penalty)
Although starting at the back every heat I didn’t let that affect me and continued to go on and have a good weekend with constant gains, unfortunately due to the bumper penalty I got caused by a pile up I got mixed up in during the formation lap I was knocked back a few places in final results. A big thanks to the team and all our sponsors for making this all possible, see you at last but not least, Lark Hall for round 4!
