Keeping safe during the World Cup
Everyone deserves to feel safe and happy in their own home.
Big sporting events like the World Cup can be an exciting time, but for some, it can be a source of worry. Sometimes, high emotions, extra drinking, or changes to our normal routine can make home environments feel unsafe. It is important to remember that sporting events do not cause domestic abuse, but they can sometimes make an existing situation feel worse or more intense.
If you, or someone you know, is feeling unsafe, please remember that you are not alone and help is available.
