Music in St John’s- Local singer/songwriter and artist Carolyn Crump and her musician husband Mark (long time Friend of St John’s) are returning to St John’s to record another song, and we’ll post it when Mark has completed the editing.
Here is the first song (self penned) recorded by Carolyn back in 2019, in St John’s. Listen carefully to the words.
Please subscribe to her channel. We’ll post the other song they recorded in St John’s, tomorrow.

Very pleased yesterday to host a visit from Andy Foster who is writing the latest Pevsner Guide for this area which catalogues the most significant buildings in the U.K.
He was especially interested in the wonderful East Window above the altar (dedicated to John Beddard a former Mayor of Dudley and father of Frank Evers Beddard FRA FRSE the famous zoologist) and is going to research a couple of points about it that we actually couldn’t answer.
He took many photographs and Grade II listed St John’s will be included in the guide.
