The Clydesider Summer School returns this year with another exciting series of media skills taster sessions!

Over eight weeks, local people will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in writing, interviewing, photography, and filmmaking through a range of hands-on workshops.

No experience? No problem! All equipment and materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.

If you've recently heard chat of 'passkeys' or your phone is now asking you to use them to keep information safe, but you're not sure what they are or how and when to use them, these are the sessions for you!

These free sessions will help you better understand passkeys, their uses, and how they help keep your information safer in the digital world. Drop-in at various branches to learn more.

Looking back and celebrating achievements is a great thing to do. Sometimes progress can seem slow but when you do look back, a lot has been achieved through tenant participation and we want to thank all the tenants and staff who have helped make that happen.

We have produced a performance report and it includes many examples of the benefits of listening and working together. Its just a summary and doesn't include everything but we hope it will evidence what can be done. Tenants have an opportunity to discuss the reports that are going to the Housing Committee with the Housing Convener and officers who wrote the papers on Monday 11 May, 10am at the Council offices at 16 Church Street.

One of the papers is an update on the Tenant Participation Strategy, there is also an end of year update on Housing Services, new build update as well as finance updates. All have impacts on all tenants so it’s important that tenants have the opportunity to read these reports and ask questions or raise any issues so if you can make it along you will be made very welcome.
