Last week some of the CASS team attended a workshop at DGRI with Tommy Whitelaw, National Lead for Person Centred Care Voices at The Alliance.
The workshop supported reflection on Person Centred Care, Intelligent Kindness, # What Matters to You?” and Self-care and active listening.
Tommy brought these themes to life through his powerful personal story of caring for his mum during her terminal illness.
Staff found it engaging, reflective and inspiring.

CASS will be linking in with Tommy to bring more workshops into Dumfries and Galloway for Health and Social Care staff across the region.

Due to the amber weather warning that will be in place from 7pm tonight (until 3am tomorrow) DG VOST will be activated from 6pm tonight (4 April). Keep an eye on the DG VOST feed for road disruption and travel advice. It's going to be a windy evening, so please do take care out there if you are out and about. Those wearing Easter Bunny ears should take extra care :)
