We are delighted to be open as part of this year's Doors Open Days Festival.
We are reimagining the library as a shared gallery space in keeping with the 2026 theme Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.
We hope you will pop in and explore our wonderful books. You can also admire and buy the work of local artists and makers - Catriona Orr, Diana de Gruyther, Jackie Zehnde (Fern Ceramics), Margaret Walty and members of the Eskdalemuir Art Group.

We are looking forward to welcoming David Byers to Westerkirk Parish Library on Sunday 28th June to discuss all things bees. David keeps bees in the Annan area and is a supportive member of local bee keeping community. He will also be raising awareness about the threat of the Yellow Legged Asian Hornet.

Our Diary of Events until the end of June. We hope you will be able to join us to help celebrate a library that has been serving the community since 1793. Tomorrow, Sunday 19th April at 3pm, we have the delightful Robin Down coming to inspire us with details of his road trip from Allerdale to Cape Wrath stopping off at golf courses with honesty boxes. We have a number of seats available.
