When Ailsa joined the Scottish Rural Leadership Programme, she wasn't sure where she fitted into the rural landscape.

As the founder of a branding business, she didn't see herself as the typical rural business leader. But through the programme, she discovered a diverse network of people from across rural Scotland who shared ideas, challenged perspectives and supported one another’s ambitions.

Guy joined the Scottish Rural Leadership Programme as part of the 2023/24 cohort.

Looking back, he describes it as "the best thing that we ever did."

Through the programme, Guy built valuable connections with leaders from across rural Scotland, many of which continue today. The experience provided fresh perspectives, lasting relationships and the confidence to move the business forward.
