Lorraine I cannot thank you enough for empathetic, calm and understanding way you were when you first met us after the death of our mum Betty Stott.
You spent so much time asking the right questions, making sure you had all the information, memories and things we all wanted to say.
Nothing was too much trouble, even when I was emailing you with additional information very late at night you always answered quickly.
On the day of the funeral you did exactly what we had asked for - a celebration of mum's life. Your tone, calmness and intonation was exactly what we were looking for.
We wanted everyone in the crematorium to know who mum was, what she brought into all of our lives and the love and joy she gave us and you delivered not just that but so much more.
Even after the funeral you made sure to contact asking how we were, making sure we were ok. Asking how dad was.
I didn’t know what to expect having never had to contact a celebrant before but your dedication to celebrate someone’s life, whether it be at the start of life or at the end is undeniably your gift in life.
You made the day the true celebration of Betty's life. And made a very difficult day a little easier to bear.
