Lothian Bus Consortium Trust Non-profit organisation consisting of like minded enthusiasts who currently own 9 vintage vehicles and care for a further 17 vehicles within the trust.

The adventures of Basil The Bus, read how a a bus from Edinburgh enjoyed adventures all over Europe. Learn how Basil and his friends went to live at the Museum. Younger children will enjoy having the read to them, older children will enjoy reading it for themselves.

Copies on sale next weekend at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum open weekend. Priced £5 all proceeds to the Lothian Bus Consortium Trust (owners of Basil)

The bus needs a few weeks of washing. Having sat for years the inside is about as filthy as the outside. Once clean and a permanent spot allocated to her we can start to work on her properly

H72 NFS

1991 Leyland Tiger coach with a Plaxton Paramount III body, originally operated by Lothian Buses in Edinburgh. It carried fleet number 72 and was built as a 53-seat coach (C53F).
Some notable details:

-New in January 1991 as coach number 72.
-Chassis: Leyland Tiger TRCL10/3ARZA.
-Bodywork: Plaxton Paramount III 3500.
-It later passed to Quantock Motor Services in 2004 and was re-registered TCZ 6122.

Today, H72 NFS is regarded as a preserved classic coach and has appeared at events hosted by the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum and part of our collection at the LBCT.
