๐Ÿšข Dunoon Community Council Ferry Survey โ€“ Have Your Say ๐Ÿšข

Dunoon Community Council wants to hear your views on the future of the CalMac ferry service.

As we approach the end of the current four-year term and prepare for Community Council elections on 20 August 2026, we want to understand what direction local residents would like the new Community Council to take regarding ferry services.

The ferry is a vital transport link for many people in Dunoon and the wider Cowal area. We know there are a number of potential options for the futureโ€”some more realistic than othersโ€”and we want your views on how we should proceed.

๐Ÿ“ Complete the survey online using the link below:

๐Ÿ“„ Printed copies are also available from:

Your feedback will help shape the priorities of the next Dunoon Community Council and strengthen our representation of local views on this important issue.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share this post with others in the community.

๐Ÿก SUPPORT DUNOON FOODBANK & COMMUNITY HUB ๐Ÿก
Help Secure a Permanent Future for Local Community Support

Dunoon Foodbank & Community Hub is applying for a Community Asset Transfer (CAT) to take ownership of our building at 22 Kirk Street, Dunoon.

This is an important opportunity to secure the long-term future of the foodbank and protect the building as a permanent community resource for Dunoon and Cowal.

By taking ownership of the building, we will be able to:
โœ… Safeguard vital foodbank services for the future
โœ… Improve and expand community support services
โœ… Create a stronger, more sustainable community hub
โœ… Ensure the building remains in local community use

We need to demonstrate to Argyll & Bute Council that the local community supports this project โ€” and that means support from the wider community, not just people who use the foodbank.

๐Ÿ“‹ Please take a moment to complete our short support form:

โ€ข Dunoon Foodbank & Community Hub
โ€ข Dunoon Jobcentre Plus

๐Ÿ“ Please only complete the form if you live in Dunoon or the Cowal area.

Every response matters and will help show that this is a valued and much-needed community asset.
