Staff-pick Saturday!

This Saturday is a little different as we celebrate National Reading Group Day. "The Beekeeper of Aleppo" by Christy Lefteri was recently chosen as The Reading Agency's Reading Group Book. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did

FREE Online Storytime Sessions!

If you are missing our Under 5 sessions as much as we are or if you have never been to one before, then why not give our online story time sessions a try?

We have lined up four sessions throughout June in partnership with Kitchen Zoo and North East actors from Mad Alice Theatre Company, and Stan Hodgson.

The classic tales, retold by regional artists, will go live each Thursday at 2pm at www.durham.gov.uk/youtubelibraryonline but will also be available to view anytime afterwards if you’d like to save the session for another day.

This week we have "Tiddalik the Frog" by Mad Alice Theatre Company. We hope you enjoy it!
