Parish Councillors are elected every four years (the next elections will be held in May 2025). We are committed to representing the interests of the community and constantly strive to improve the life of the people we represent and enhance the local environment. We do this by working closely with the County Council, community groups, voluntary organisations, police, local businesses and, most impo
rtantly, our residents. We support local community organisations and new initiatives for the benefit of the Parish. We are able to voice our concerns on issues such as highway maintenance, traffic, refuse and policing. We are also consulted on local planning applications and although we can inform the County Council of our views, we cannot approve or reject applications ourselves.
