A cold and wet day today for our multiple crews out across the North East today.

We've had:
A large multidisciplinary team supported by our friends at Beverley Ambulance Services Ltd at a local marathon with ambulances, RRV and CRU's deployed,
A local historic reenactment day with a small team deployed,
The local round of British Cycling BMX competition with our friends Paradox Medical Services supporting us with a doctor,
And finally a local relay race.

It maybe still early into the event season but things don't look to slow down much for the rest of it with having still some availability and space to support events and industry partners.

🚑 Fleet Update 🚑

We’re pleased to welcome a new vehicle into the fleet, replacing our former SA04.

This latest addition strengthens our ability to deliver safe, reliable and professional High Dependency transport and medical support wherever it’s needed. With enhanced capability and improved efficiency, it ensures we continue to meet the high standards our clients and patients expect.

This vehicle will soon be kitted up to the high standards we expect of our vehicles to ensure the right equipment is available when our crews require it.

📍 Onwards and upwards as we continue to invest in quality, safety, and service delivery with more vehicles to come over the year.

Please choose NHS services carefully during this period to help keep care available for those who need it most 💚 emergency teams are working across the region, responding to life-threatening emergencies and urgent calls.

If you need health advice or treatment and it’s not a life-threatening emergency, there are simple ways to get the right care without calling 999:

📱 NHS App: Manage repeat prescriptions, check symptoms, view appointments, and access trusted NHS advice from your phone.👉 https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/

💻 NHS 111 online: Get medical advice when it’s not life-threatening—check your symptoms and be directed to the right service quickly.👉 https://111.nhs.uk

💊 Your local pharmacy, GP, or dentist: For common illnesses, medication advice, minor infections, and ongoing health concerns. Pharmacists are highly trained clinicians who can assess and treat many everyday conditions without an appointment.👉 https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/services-near-you/

🚑 If it is not a life-threatening emergency, please do not call 999.999 is for serious conditions such as cardiac arrest, breathing difficulties, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or when someone’s life is at immediate risk.

Choosing the right service helps emergency teams reach the sickest patients faster. With significant pressure currently being experienced across our regions hospitals and the North East Ambulance Service, your support is more important than ever. Thank you for supporting your community and helping keep emergency care available for those who need it most.
