Voucher Sales Are Back!

We’re delighted to share that voucher sales are now live again on our website!

After 7 weeks of closure due to bird flu restrictions, we’re finally back up and running — and looking forward to an exciting season ahead.

If your experience was postponed, we’ll be in touch very soon to get you rebooked.

We’re Back Open This Weekend!

We’re thrilled to announce that following the removal of the final bird flu control zone in Weardale and the end of mandatory bird housing measures, Durham Falconry is officially reopening for bookings from this weekend!

We’ll be contacting customers whose experiences had to be postponed during the closure to reschedule, and we’re now accepting new bookings once again.

All vouchers affected by the closure will be automatically extended by 7 weeks, so no one misses out.

Great News – We’re Preparing to Reopen!

DEFRA has announced that housing measures for birds in England will be lifted from 15 May 2025, thanks to a reduced bird flu risk. While enhanced biosecurity remains in place, this means we’re preparing to reopen shortly and begin welcoming you back!

We’re working carefully behind the scenes to ensure a safe and smooth return for our birds and visitors.

Due to confirmed cases of avian influenza near Blaydon and Consett, we are taking immediate precautions to protect everyone. We will be going into lockdown and temporarily suspending all bookings.

We will be contacting all affected customers shortly. Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.
