Spring on the field. Beautiful almond blossom from our new addition to the orchard - thank you Barbara- and a group of blackfly being milked by ants and eaten by ladybirds! The willow on the swale is growing well and the fish continue to multiply :-(.

We had a great afternoon on the field today with SMT, who generously gave us 4 people for the whole afternoon. A large field maple was planted, benches were sanded, the mound and the new dry dip were strimmed, the bike shelter notice board was painted and the info board was treated. It all looks wonderful. Thank you so much dynamo team SMT - Paul, Rob, Shubbs and Tony. Thanks also to FoDGS members, Paul (for installing Derek's memorial bench) and Sarah and Heather for raking and clearing. We've left some piles around the site for habitat refuges over winter.

He’ll be making his way around the village on his magical sleigh so children (and grown-ups!) can come out, give him a wave, and enjoy a little sweet treat. 🍬
