Two weeks to go until the Summer Reading Challenge 2026 arrives in Nottinghamshire libraries! 🤩

Get ready to Read to the Beat and make this summer one full of stories, imagination and plenty of reading fun 🎵 From Saturday 4 July, children aged 4–11 can join the challenge for FREE at their local Inspire library and start working towards their reading goals, rewards, medal and certificate 🏅

Now’s the perfect time to start thinking about what your child might enjoy reading this summer. Whether they’re into adventures, laugh-out-loud joke books, fascinating facts, comics, poetry or listening to stories on the go, every page (and every eBook!) counts towards the challenge.

Whether your child is already a bookworm or you’re hoping to keep reading going over the holidays, the Summer Reading Challenge is a fun way to inspire confidence, spark imagination and make reading part of your summer adventures.

Saturday the 20th of June is our final Family Lego Club until later in the year!

We normally set the table up for around 10:30. It is free play, but we do ask that adults be around to make sure their children are okay with the Lego pieces!

We love taking pictures of your Lego creations, so if you want anything photographed feel free to ask and we will put it on our page!

Hopefully see you there 🤓
