Together We Make Eastleigh partners meet to springboard the next phase for the town centre.
Partners gathered at Places Leisure Eastleigh to continue work on improving and enhancing Eastleigh Town Centre for businesses, visitors and residents.
The steering group looks to build on Together We Make Eastleigh’s progress and implement more recommendations bedded in the vital feedback already gathered from stakeholders.
Members focused on the place marketing strategy work awarded to Carswell Gould who provided an update on their research with members of the public at the Swan Centre, students at Barton Peveril College and key stakeholders. The work will inform a placemaking campaign to reboot the perceptions of Eastleigh Town Centre.
The recommendations from the outdoor performance research, undertaken by Dr Gemma Kerr, were discussed and workshopped to explore options and work towards an action plan.

This was followed closely by:
🖼️physical public art installations at the bus station and gateways with colourful vinyls and murals influenced by local colleges and care homes.
