We're proud to be supporting the Blue Lamp Trust through funding for two important community safety initiatives – helping older drivers stay safe and confident on the road, and providing carbon monoxide alarms to vulnerable people through the Safe Home initiative.

As a Community Interest Company, every surplus we generate is reinvested into projects that make a positive difference in our communities, and we're delighted to support the incredible work of the Blue Lamp Trust.

Last week marked another successful Farnborough International Airshow 2026, where our team was on hand throughout the event delivering dedicated fire cover and event safety support.

From early starts to the final departure, our firefighters worked alongside partner agencies to help keep one of the world's leading aviation events running safely and smoothly.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, and especially to our crews for their professionalism, commitment and hard work throughout the week.

The climb is a fitting tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who lost their lives on 9/11, and we're proud to play a small part in helping keep their memory alive.

On Tuesday evening, I had the privilege of attending the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service Volunteers' Recognition Evening.

It was genuinely inspiring to hear about the difference volunteers are making across our communities. From supporting Home Safety Visits and community safety initiatives, to helping young people develop through the Cadet Programme, the impact of their time, commitment and dedication is remarkable.

The stories shared throughout the evening were a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved through volunteering and the positive effect it has on the lives of others.

I was also delighted to receive a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of 3SFire CIC in recognition of our support for volunteers and the projects they help deliver. While the certificate is appreciated, the real achievement belongs to the volunteers themselves and the incredible contribution they make every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who gives their time to support our communities.
