The extension eviction ban is welcome news, and wouldn’t have happened without the pressure of organised tenants, but the threat of a surge of evictions is far from gone...

We need to use the coming weeks and months to steel ourselves and our communities for the fight ahead. ACORN will be ready to act whenever the ban lifts, but we’ve got work to do.

We’re training up members of the community in Sheffield with the tools to stand up for each other collectively to resist evictions, protect our communities, and win.

Great response from sixth formers in Bents Green today!

We had lots of great conversations, including asking those who will be 18 on election day if they were registered to vote.

We’ve got exciting plans ahead for getting young people of all ages involved in the campaign for a Labour government that would introduce Votes at 16 and much, much more. Watch this space!
