Aberdeenshire schools are introducing new procedures as part of obligations around Martyn’s Law.

The new procedures will help ensure staff and pupils know how to respond safely in the unlikely event of a serious incident.

The measures will be integrated alongside existing emergency plans with a focus on reassurance, wellbeing and harm reduction.

🚦Hello, just to make people aware, there is an issue with the temporary traffic lights heading from Echt towards Garlogie being stuck on red. Drive safely, the issue has been reported to the fibre company. Cheers

Garlogie Indoor Bowling Club Duck Race and Open Day

Its that time of year , the indoor season is approaching fast and its time for our biennial Duck Race and Open Day

Date: September 6th
Time: 1-4pm
Where: Garlogie Hall

As in previous years, we will have a carpet rolled out in the hall, so people can give Bowls a try. We have equipment and coaching will be available. There will also be teas, coffees and refreshments available.

Then at 2pm, we will be releasing the Ducks in a Race down the Leuchar Burn. This year we have had prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, generously donated again by The Garlogie Inn

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 6th September.
