Our demands:

End Cuts to Adult Disability Payment (ADP)

According to Social Security Scotland, the approval rate for Adult Disability Payment applications has fallen from 57% when it was introduced to 34%. That is a 23% fall in approval rates.
“Social Security Scotland” is using stealth cuts to crack down on disabled people to avoid raising taxes on the rich.

End the Child Disability Payment backlog

According to Scottish government figures: most families applying for Child Disability Payment are forced to wait over 70 days (not counting weekends or bank holidays) before their application is approved. 15% were forced to wait over 7 months. Many families struggle to cope while waiting for the first payment.

No cuts to Motability / AVE

Motability cuts will cost disabled people in rural areas over £400 per year. These payments help disabled people afford a car. Motability payments are an essential lifeline which enables severely disabled people to work, attend hospital appointments, and visit family or friends. We demand that the SNP meet the funding deficit imposed by Westminster and maintain the old rate of Motability/AVE payments.

Ban Hyperscale AI Datacentres

If all planned data centres are approved they will more than double Scotland's peak demand for energy. AI data centres will require a massive expansion to power infrastructure, that ordinary people are likely to pay though increased energy bills.

"Medical emergency: urgent medical care for Dr Hussam Abu Safiya.
We write to urge immediate access to medical care for Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, a paediatrician and Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, who has been detained in Israel since December, 2024, following reports that his health has deteriorated. According to the Palestinian News & Information Agency WAFA, Dr Abu Safiya was seen by his lawyer Nasser Odeh on July 2, 2026, who documented severe injuries, signs of physical assault, breathing difficulties, and repeated episodes of loss of consciousness.
Physicians for Human Rights Israel subsequently warned that his life might be in danger and renewed its call for his release."
