The year is moving so fast and with so many opportunities for sport coming up this year there’s lots to get excited about!
Did you catchup with our March newsletter where we celebrated sporting achievements, highlighted Safe Falling and summarised the latest PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) information? If not, see here:

Celebrating and championing local sporting achievements, recognising the hard work put in by volunteers, coaches and officials as well as celebrating the dedication and commitment of participants is something that our ClubSport and Sports Council networks do very well.

Opportunities for funding for all clubs and community groups!

Community groups across Scotland can now apply for a share of £2.2 million in National Lottery funding to deliver activities inspired by the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. 🎉

Through National Lottery Awards for All Scotland, you can now apply for grants of up to £10,000 to deliver Games-inspired activities in your local area.

Funding is available for projects that:

- Increase access and remove barriers to arts and sports
- Get more people active and involved
- Bring communities together
- Support health and wellbeing
- Celebrate cultural diversity
- Create a lasting legacy beyond the Games

Whether you’re a community group, sports club, or arts organisation, this is your chance to get involved and make something special happen where you live.
