Edinburgh Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft Club

Edinburgh Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft Club We are a group of sugar crafters who share knowledge and skills. ( no meetings in July or December)

We meet on the Second Tuesday of the month inStrachan House Care Home, 93 Craigcrook Road, EH4 3PE @ 7.15pm. The Edinburgh branch of the British Sugarcraft Guild meet in the chuech hall of Corstorphine Old Parish Church on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 7.15pm where we either have a visiting demonstrator, showing us new skills, or even a hands- on event where you get to try and learn new skills.

Our next branch meeting is on Tuesday 9th of June. 7.15 at Strachan House when we will be doing our Jelly painting works...

Last Tuesday we had a fun evening decorating Christmas cakes for Strachan House, our meeting venue.
Sixteen members all produced an individual cake. We have such a lot of talent in our midst.
Have a great Festive Period and thanks to those who participated. We all learned something from each other.

We had a delightful demonstration of this lovely gingerbread man from Stacey McFarlane from the Stirling Branch, this evening.
Her calm and clear delivery was wonderful. The base is a chocolate orange .
