Our ScotGEM Interns, Shula and Racheal, met with some families who were seeking help in future planning for housing for their younger disabled children. The families have been receiving advice on their housing options by Housing Options Scotland’s Making Moves service.

Our ScotGEM Interns, Shula and Racheal, attended Triage with our Housing Options Brokers where they learned more about Housing Options Scotland clients and how we allocate cases.

“Today was all about learning, listening, and mapping out the path ahead! From discussing housing needs to personalised support, we witnessed the first steps of Making Moves, a service that supports disabled people looking to live independently for the first time. We were inspired by how the brokers discuss new clients, case by case, with care and determination to help each individual tackle their challenges. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 🗂️✨ ”
