Jamie Dobson would like to thank most sincerely the significant number of people in the Western Isles that supported him in the recent Holyrood election, as well as to congratulate Donald Mackinnon on his election to represent our interests in Edinburgh. In this Parliament, here in the Highlands and Islands we also have elected a Scottish Liberal Democrat Regional MSP (Morven-May MacCallum), two Reform UK MSPs (Vic Currie and Max Bannerman), two Scottish Green Party MSPs (Ariane Burgess and Kristopher Leask), a Scottish Conservative and Unionist MSP (Tim Eagle) and a Scottish National Party MSP (Maree Todd) all of whom are able to take up matters on behalf of voters in the Western Isles.
