NEW MEMBER | St Laurence Forres Trust

We are pleased to welcome St Laurence Forres Trust as the newest members of Moray Chamber of Commerce.

St Laurence stands at the very heart of Forres - In late 2024, the Church of Scotland made the decision to dispose of St Laurence Church. In response, our charity, St Laurence Forres Trust SCIO, was formed with one clear purpose: to keep this iconic building in community hands and ensure it remains part of Forres’ future for generations to come. With thanks to Grant funding bodies and generous donations and support from Moray businesses and individuals we raised sufficient funds to purchase St Laurence on behalf of the local Forres and wider IV36 community on 18th March 2026.

Led by a very dynamic and forward thinking Board of Trustees which includes, Seymor Munro as Honorary President, James Campbell as Chairman and a number of very talented professionals and businessmen and women, we want to transform St Laurence into a welcoming space for arts, music, culture, and community activities for people of all ages. With its stunning architecture and beautiful acoustics, St Laurence. Forres is perfectly suited to concerts, performances, exhibitions, and life celebrations such as weddings… a place full of creativity and connection.

NEW MEMBER | Thistle Rose Recruitment

We are pleased to welcome Thistle Rose Recruitment as new members of Moray Chamber of Commerce.

Founded by Toby Bigmore, Thistle Rose Recruitment is a specialist recruitment business based in Elgin and focused on the manufacturing sector, supporting businesses across Moray and the wider UK with senior and specialist hires.

With over 10 years’ experience in recruitment, Toby has worked with both global businesses and smaller, independent companies, giving him a broad understanding of the different challenges businesses face when hiring.

Thistle Rose takes a proactive approach to recruitment, using headhunting, market mapping and targeted searches to identify and approach people who may not be actively looking for a new role. The focus is on building long term relationships and taking the time to properly understand both the business and the people they are looking to hire.

Honesty, integrity and a personal approach are at the heart of how Thistle Rose works, with the aim of making the right introduction rather than simply filling a vacancy. This approach is reflected in the feedback from businesses Thistle Rose has worked with, which you can find on the website.
