We’ve had a lovely and creative week at Swan Mere, creating our very own poppy artwork on blank canvases 🎨

Everyone got involved with great enthusiasm and gave it their all, resulting in a wonderful collection of unique and thoughtful pieces of art.

We’ll be proudly displaying our artwork this Saturday at ELLESMERE COMMUNITY GROUPS DAY 10am-2pm at Ellesmere Town Hall.
Come along, have a look at our creations, and find out more about Swan Mere and the activities and support we offer to our members.

We currently have spaces available for new members, so if you or someone you know might benefit from joining us, please get in touch to find out more. Alternatively, come and have a chat with us on Saturday — we’d be delighted to meet you!

We look forward to seeing you there 😊

We had a fantastic week last week, packed with lots of activities aimed at staying active.
We started things off with some gentle chair yoga, helping everyone ease into the week, relax and unwind 🧘‍♀️
Later in the week, we enjoyed a music quiz that got everyone in the mood for a bit of fun. Some of our members and staff even got up to show off their dance moves to a few of the songs!🕺

If you’re interested in volunteering with us, or would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch 😊

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine this week by getting outdoors ☀️

We’ve been keeping cool with plenty of delicious lollies, enjoying the lovely weather, and tending to our homegrown tomato plants in the garden.
They taste delicious if we do say so ourselves 😄🍅

It’s been lovely spending time outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and watching our little patio garden area grow 👩🏼‍🌾

Who says exercise can’t be fun? 😁🏋️

We’ve had a wonderful time this week during our gentle seated exercise sessions. There’s been plenty of movement, lots of smiles, and so much laughter that we think we’ve given our face muscles a workout too! 😄

Our seated exercise sessions are a great way to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy some time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment

If you’d be interested in finding out more about our seated exercise sessions and other activities we offer, please feel free to get in touch 😊

We would like to say a big thank you to Ros Harrison Koring, who visited us last Wednesday and treated some of our members to a wonderfully relaxing facial and hand massage. 💆‍♀️
These lovely treatments offer so many benefits for older adults. Facials can help hydrate and nourish the skin, improve circulation, and leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Hand massages can ease aches and pains, improve mobility, promote relaxation, and provide a comforting sense of wellbeing.
Most importantly, everyone enjoyed some well-deserved pampering and a chance to relax and unwind.

We look forward to welcoming Ros back again soon!
