We have been made aware of an incident of antisocial behaviour (ASB) at the Recreation Ground involving motorised bikes, which has resulted in damage to the football pitch.
We are currently reviewing CCTV footage, and any relevant images or evidence will be forwarded to the police. In the past, the Council and local residents have worked positively with the police on ASB matters and achieved successful outcomes. Police intervention, together with reports from residents, helped to reduce this type of behaviour significantly. We are therefore disappointed to see it occurring again. However, we remain confident that, through continued vigilance, prompt reporting, and close partnership working with the police, we can bring this behaviour to a swift end.
