An end of summer round up from us at Emsworth! As with much of the county we had an incredibly busy summer with 146 call outs between May and the end of September! 📟
In the dry period we attended 23 fires in the open including long stints at Headon Warren on the Isle of Wight and the major incident on the A31 in the New Forest.
We also were unfortunately called to the fire at our own local pub, The Bluebell. But swift Initial actions from the crew stopped the fire before it could cause further damage. We wish them all the best with the repairs!
We have also been hard at work training with one new development firefighter joining us and another working through the development process. If you would like a new challenge and are interested in potentially joining please send us a message for more information! 🚒🚒
