📢 Have your say on health and wellbeing in Epping Forest

We're inviting residents, community groups, charities and local organisations to help shape the Epping Forest Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2027-2031.

From mental wellbeing and the cost of living to healthy lifestyles, employment opportunities and community safety, your views will help set priorities for the next four years.

The consultation is open from 18 October to 31 December 2026.

🌺 Remembrance Sunday – Sunday 8 November 2026 🌺

Loughton residents are invited to join us in remembering those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

📍 11:00am – A two-minute silence at the War Memorial on Kings Green, High Road, Loughton.

🎖️ 11:50am – The uniformed parade will leave the Royal British Legion, Loughton branch, and march down Church Hill to Kings Green.

🌹 12:15pm – The main formal service, including the laying of wreaths and salute, will begin on Kings Green.

The High Sheriff’s Fund is back and open for applications!

Are you helping to make Essex a safer place to live, work or grow up? If so, your organisation could apply for a grant of up to £5,000.

From supporting victims of crime and domestic abuse to creating positive opportunities for young people and helping people rebuild their lives, the High Sheriff’s Fund invests in projects and groups that strengthen communities across Essex's safety.

The Epping Forest Youth Council were proud to deliver the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) workshops at Essex Youth Voices Day. It was a fantastic day, with everyone leaving feeling inspired, enthusiastic and full of positive energy!

Today we welcome everyone to the Youth Voice Day 2026!! 🌟😁

In partnership with Essex Council For Voluntary Youth Services and The Essex Violence and Vulnerability Unit!

We are excited to welcome young people today to use their voice and make positive change.
