*Caption Competition*

This delightful puffin by Alison Catchlove is sitting by the lake at Claremont as part of the Sculpture Trail brought here by surreysculpturesociety. He doesn't look too impressed with us, but makes us smile. What do you think?

What would be the perfect caption to capture this sculpture's expression? Let us know in the comments.

The Sculpture Trail at Claremont is running until Sunday 12 July.

Who doesn't love outdoor theatre? We love this video from Illyria sharing why they love performing outdoors. They'll be bringing their production of The Three Musketeers to Claremont on Thursday 23 July. See our website or what's on link in our bio for more info and book.

Coming to Claremont Landscape Gardens this summer... a brand new family trail inspired by Enid Blyton’s beloved stories.

Join Joe, Beth, and Frannie on a fun-filled adventure as you wander through the gardens in search of magical lands. Along the way, enjoy fun challenges and games and meet much‑loved characters including Moonface, Silky the Fairy, and Saucepan Man.

When your adventure comes to an end, relax at the Gardener’s Bothy Café for drinks, snacks, and ice cream – and don’t forget to visit our two play areas to keep the fun going all day. Oh, and there are rowboats available to hire, too.

It's National Picnic Week (15 - 21 June)

Long before check blankets and sausage rolls, picnics were already becoming a tradition. The idea arrived from France in the 18th century, but it truly took hold during the Georgian and Victorian eras when open green spaces became popular gathering spots for leisurely outdoor meals.

Along with our love of parks, open spaces, and fresh air, a picnic is a favourite family pastime. Whether it's a few sandwiches sat on a bench or a more elaborate affair, it's a popular tradition of enjoying good food, good company, and a bit of green space.

So pack your hampers and head down to Claremont.
