Our Yarrow chefs have been busy experimenting with our very own giant pumpkin soup.

From stirring pots and exploring different pumpkins to scooping, pouring and discovering textures, the children have had a wonderful (and very hands-on!) time learning through play.

Messy, magical and full of autumn magic sensory play at its best!

๐Ÿ‘ป Spooky monsters have taken over the craft table at Yarrow Nursery!

Our children have been dabbing, squishing and sticking googly eyes to make their very own monsters.

Green, purple, glittery and a little bit messy โ€” just how we like it.

This week our little heroes took on Fine Motor & Sensory Rescue Missions!

People, animals and superheroes were tied to blocks, wrapped in foil and tangled in tissue paper, with messages like โ€œWe all need rescuing!โ€ and โ€œSave us!โ€

The children peeled, pulled and untied each one โ€” brilliant for pincer grip, hand strength and concentration, with plenty of storytelling along the way.

Weโ€™re an Ofsted Good Provider, and weโ€™d love to tell you more.๐Ÿ”Š

At ๐—ฌ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ก๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† in Euxton, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum โ€” the national framework that supports children from birth to five.

That means every day is planned around how children actually learn best: through play, curiosity, outdoor exploration and warm relationships.

We nurture all seven areas of learning, including:

โœจ Communication and language

โœจ Personal, social and emotional development

โœจ Physical development

โœจ Literacy

โœจ Maths

โœจ Understanding The world

โœจ Expressive Arts

Because weโ€™re a small, family-run setting, we can follow each childโ€™s interests and give them the individual attention they need to grow in confidence.

If youโ€™re looking for a nursery that combines high-quality early years education with a homely, welcoming feel, weโ€™d love to show you around.

๐Ÿฆ‰ 1, 2, 3... Counting Owls! ๐Ÿฆ‰

At Yarrow Nursery, we combined storytime and math! ๐Ÿ“šโž•

We loved reading "Owl Babies" so much that we brought the story to life with a fun counting activity.

Moments like these are what make early years education so magical. โœจ
