A BIG thank you to all who came and litter picked on Sunday morning. Over 10 bags of litter were collected by our groups of hard working volunteers in different areas of the parish.
We were lucky to have around 20 pickers - making the most of some early Spring sunshine.
Thank you to all who took part and also to those residents who litter pick independently during the year. You are appreciated and it makes such a difference to the parish.

The Parish Council was delighted to receive a road safety grant from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for a new Vehicle Activated Sign for the villages of Rous Lench and Radford. The sign is powered by solar and has data capture functionality which allows us to monitor speeds. In the short time we have been monitoring the data we have seen a slight reduction in the average speed but there have been some dangerously high speeds recorded. This data has been sent to the Safer Neighbourhood Team and Safer Roads Team, resulting in a PCSO conducting speed checks at Goom's Hill/Radford and sending advisory letters to speeding drivers. The Police will be conducting further speed checks and are looking into other ways that drivers can be slowed down in our Parish.
You will see the sign alternating between the stretch of 40mph road at Gooms Hill, Radford and in Rous Lench village where the speed limit is 30mph.
We extend our thanks to the West Mercia PCC for this road safety grant, as part of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s commitment to safer roads.
