📢 Exciting news for Evesham!

We’re delighted to announce that Tom Doggett has been appointed as the new operator of Evesham’s markets.

Markets will continue to run on Tuesdays and Saturdays across the Market Square and High Street, with plans to grow and develop the market offer — starting with a vibrant Saturday market in the Market Square.

Tom said it was “an absolute honour” to take on a market with a history dating back to the eleventh century, and he’s excited about creating a thriving market that supports local traders, businesses and the wider community.

More information, including opportunities for traders, will be announced in September.

Don't miss out - the small grants deadline is approaching!

The Town Council is accepting applications from local charities and not-for-profit organisations for its Small Grants Scheme. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 25th August. Applications will be considered at the Finance Committee meeting on the 7th September.
For full terms or to apply, please download an application form from the website. There is a total pot of £20,500 in grant funding available.

🎺🌳 This Sunday at Abbey Park, Evesham, we’re looking forward to welcoming Bretforton Silver Band as part of our summer Bands in the Park series.
After a great performance from our own Avonbank Brass Band last weekend, we haven't gone far for another brilliant band to continue the season!

Come along this Sunday for an enjoyable afternoon of live brass music in the lovely surroundings of Abbey Park. Bring a picnic, a chair or blanket, and relax while enjoying the sounds of summer. ☀️🎶

The Town Council was very sorry to hear of Bluebell Events' decision to step down from running Evesham Charter Market after four years.

On behalf of the Council, we would like to sincerely thank Bluebell Events for their work in operating the market over the past four years. They took on the market with genuine enthusiasm and worked hard to support traders, attract visitors and maintain this valued community asset during a challenging period for traditional markets across the country.

We wish Bluebell Events every success with their other markets and events and thank them for everything they have done in Evesham.

The Council issues the market lease and remains committed to providing a weekly market in the town. We will now begin exploring options for finding a new operator to take the market forward and will provide updates as soon as we are able
