Save the date! 🌿⚓️

The hugely popular Exeter Quayside Farmers' Market returns on Saturday 20 June from 9am–1pm, bringing the very best local produce, artisan food and independent traders to the Quayside.

You can also enjoy the Sustainable Seas Festival at East Quay (by Haven Banks) from 11am–5pm, featuring traditional maritime crafts, historic vessels open to visit, lectures, talks and films at the Haven Banks Centre, plus live music and song throughout the day. 🌊⚓️🎶

A perfect day to explore and celebrate by the water.

A reminder that the sixth annual Exeter Unesco City of Literature Book Market is set to take over Exeter Quay on Sunday 7th June, from 11AM to 4PM.

There are some great FREE activities that promises to be fun for all the family, so do come down and check it out.

✨ Following on from the huge success of his pop-up dining event here at Exeter Custom House on the quay last November, plus a sell-out Valentine’s pop-up ❤️, chef Gideon Hitchin (ex-River Cottage and The Giant Club) is launching a brand new pop-up starting Thursday 4th June at The Poachers Inn in Ide 🍽️🔥

The pop-up will run every Thursday and Friday throughout June 🌿

The 5 course menu, which is an absolute bargain at £45pp 💫, will be packed with the flavours of the season. Expect BBQ’d spring lamb 🐑, fresh asparagus, wild hedgerow greens 🌱 and the very best local fruits 🍓🍒

Gideon has built a loyal following since opening his first restaurant, The Giant Club, where he became known for his simple yet elegant style of cooking 👨‍🍳

These pop-ups only happen every so often, making them a fantastic opportunity to experience something truly special ✨ The focus is very much on exceptional ingredients, relaxed dining and warm hospitality 🍷

Next week sees the start of the final hurrah for Art Work Exeter’s three year residency at the Custom House on the historic quayside.

Their final showcase begins on 2nd June with Custom Made, a retrospective exhibition sharing highlights, glimpses and traces from the projects they’ve developed as part of their residency.

Expect video, sculpture, sound works, documentary photographs. Prints, booklets and items available for sale.

Get ready for long evenings, waterfront views, and the unmistakable sound of Lympstone Band as they return with a brand-new series of FREE outdoor concerts across Topsham and Exeter.

From 11 June to 30 July, join them on Thursday evenings for uplifting live music featuring brass band favourites, modern chart hits, and feel-good summer classics guaranteed to get toes tapping and spirits soaring. 🎺🎵
