Thinking of a cooling dip?

The water may look inviting on a warm day, we have some top tips from our water safety partners on how to enjoy the water safely:

👉 Check the water temperature before jumping in, it can still be very cold even on a hot day
👉 Wear a wetsuit if you plan on spending any length of time in the water
👉 Stay together, never swim alone
👉 In an emergency call 999

Our partners suggest that you choose brightly coloured swimwear to stay visible and safe when in the water.
