You're Invited to Our Open Evening! 🎉

Come and discover everything St Luke's Church of England School has to offer at our Open Evening.

📅 Thursday 1st October
🕟 4:30pm – 7:00pm

Meet our Headteacher, explore our fantastic facilities, enjoy canteen tasters, take part in fun activities and chat with staff about life at St Luke's.

We're also running Morning Tours on selected dates for Year 6 families. Simply scan the QR code on the poster to book your place and experience St Luke's during a normal school day.

🚗 Important Parking Information

The main car park will be closed and is reserved for accessible parking only.
Please do not park on Harts Lane.

All visitors should use the main bridge to access the school site.

📚 Thinking about secondary school for September 2027?

As parents begin considering their secondary school applications, we'd love to invite you to come and see St Luke's Church of England School in action.

Our school tours begin in September and are a fantastic opportunity to experience our school during a normal working day, meet members of our team and get a feel for life at St Luke's as well as joining us for our Open Evening on Wednesday 1st October.

Daytime tours must be booked in advance. Simply scan the QR code to reserve your place.

When booking, you can choose to attend:

🌈 Happy Retirement, Miss Gove!

Today we say a fond farewell to our wonderful Miss Gove as she begins a well-deserved retirement after an incredible 23 years and 4 months at St Luke's.

Throughout her time with us, Miss Gove has made a lasting difference to the lives of so many students, families and colleagues. Her dedication, kindness and unwavering commitment to our school community have been truly remarkable.

While we are so excited for this next chapter and wish her every happiness in retirement, she will be hugely missed by everyone at St Luke's.

Today is the last day of term, with students finishing at 12:45pm.

As we reach the end of another fantastic school year, we'd like to thank all of our students, families, and staff for their hard work, support, and achievements throughout the year.

We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer holiday. We hope you have a wonderful break and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new school year!

What an incredible Enrichment Week we've had! Our students enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, building confidence, teamwork, and creating lasting memories.

Summer Concert 2026 ✨🎶

Our talented students treated us to an incredible evening of music, showcasing their hard work, creativity, and confidence. It was fantastic to see so many performers take to the stage and share their talents with family, friends, and staff.

A huge well done to everyone who performed, and thank you to all who came along to support them. It was a memorable evening and a wonderful celebration of the amazing talent within our school community.

Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition ⛺🥾

Congratulations to our 10 Year 10 and 11 students who successfully completed their 3-day, 2-night Silver DofE expedition!

Over three days, they navigated challenging routes across the East Devon Way, Woodbury Common, the River Otter, and the South West Coast Path, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and determination every step of the way.

A fantastic achievement by all involved we're incredibly proud of your hard work and perseverance. Well done! 👏
