St Luke's C of E School Exeter

Earlier this month, we welcomed leaders from across the region to St Luke’s for the Ilsham DfE Hub Reading Hub showcase visit.

The visit provided an opportunity to share how we develop students’ reading and wider literacy skills through tutor time, classroom lessons and targeted interventions.

It was fantastic to showcase the work taking place across our school to support students to become confident readers and lifelong learners.

The Year 8s played in their first netball tournament of the year last week, with many experiencing their first tournament! We are super proud of their sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm. They showed great determination, supported one another brilliantly and were eager to keep developing their skills and tactics throughout the tournament. Well done Year 8! You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏
